Thought it would be a good day to have a change of scenery. Off to Waterton we went. We were very surprised to discover how much the annual pass just for Waterton Park went up. $104.60 for a family pass!!! Used to be a discount if you purchased a pass before May. I guess they have to pay for the new Information Centre some how. The Kilmorey Lodge is still under construction – maybe they’ll finish it this year. I check their web cam on a regular basis (for the weather there too). Waterton is pretty deserted in the winter as everything is closed. We had our picnic in the car as it was very windy.

Looks real nice in the winter and so different, especially with no tourists around. Very peaceful.
