June 17: Went for our first hike up towards Sofa Mountain, Waterton Park with Leona, Barry, Fran, George, Waldy and myself. Nice easy going trail with lots of lovely wildflowers. We were lucky to see the Lady Slippers again along the highway on the way down. (Scroll down for June 19th photos.) Thanks to Barry, Fran, George, and Asher for photo contributions.
June 19: Went back to photograph the Lady Slippers with my better camera and macro lens, and a quick drive through Waterton. Cameron Falls was very full, the lake was high but we’ve seen it higher. We were surprised to see a small group of Bison in the Paddock with a couple of youngsters.

Lovely scenes and those Lady Slippers are gorgeous. Nice to see the young Bison and other wildlife animals.
