We have had an unbelievably warm autumn. Instead of going cross-country skiing in Waterton at this time of year, we (Leona, Barry, Fran, George, Waldy & I) went for a picnic! It wasn’t as warm as at home as it rained all day and was very windy. So much for going for a walk. We drove around the shelters finding no wood to make a fire so ended up at the info center when they informed us that we now have to purchase wood at the first shelter on the way in the park. Once we had wood, we went to the shelter by the lake that has 2 huge fireplaces. It was very cosy and warm.
