Jan 2: Barry, Leona and I decided to go snow shoeing along the Wishbone Trail (trail that goes to Vimy Mountain). It was very calm in Cardston, but really windy in Waterton Park, gusts up to 50km/hr. It wasn’t very pleasant going against the wind but once we got into the trees it was much better, and coming back was also good. The roads were drifting so bad, they had only one way traffic along the highway by the park, and were constantly plowing. We saw quite a few deer, and we think elk turds. Anyway, the exercise was good after being indoors so long when it was so cold. We walked 3.8km.
Jan 6: Barry, Leona, Waldy and I went snowshoeing in the same place. It was warmer but still quite windy. We walked 6.84km this time. The sand dune type photos are from Barry.

Looks like you had a nice time and good weather, despite a bit of wind. Love your toque!
