After not being able to kayak the Milk River last year due to no water, it was a treat doing it again. George, Barry, Leona, Melanie and myself went. There was lots of water and a few rapids but nothing compared to the St Mary and Waterton rivers. We paddled 17km from Hwg 501 to RR223. Took us almost 4 hours. There were a few spots where cattle crossed but I was too busy hoping to avoid hitting them that I never took photos of them! We saw a few deer, eagles and some ducks.
