On an absolutely beautiful Sunday, we decided to drive over to Police Outpost Provincial Park and hike around. We didn’t know that since they turned Police Lake into a trophy fishing lake, the park does not open until April 1st. We were allowed to park outside the gate and walk in. We hiked down to the little island on the lake. We were told there was a Moose and Grizzly Bear in the park but we saw neither.

Is that where we saw the young moose at the end of the boardwalk? Looks familiar. Nice photos and with Chief Mountain in the background. Got our provincial summer pass today and it was $40 less than last year. Guess it has to do with COVID. They had also extended last year’s summer pass from Nov. 31 to March 31.
