We met Mark and Lorna in Germany in the late 1970’s when Marlene worked with Lorna on Obstetrics at the Canadian Forces Base Hospital in Lahr. We have remained friends and in contact every since. We see each other every few years and each time we do, it’s just like we saw them yesterday. They stopped by to visit for a couple of days on their holiday through the Rockies. We took them for a local tour of our area and to Waterton.

That is so nice of Mark & Lorna to visit with you guys. Where do they live now?
Near Vancouver.
Hello, I worked with Mark Wilson at the HQ in Lahr and at the base in 1980. We were all young back then and had some good times. I’ve been wondering about Mark and Lorna since those days and was very pleased to see them on your website. Please say hello to them for us ( Steve and Liz Hamilton). We are still alive and kicking. Take care, Steve Hamilton
Steve: Good to hear from you. Marlene asked how you got her website? Steve, I sent you an email but haven’t heard back, did I get the right email? We’re fine in the rain, waiting for spring. We’re off to Holland as part of Op Faust celebration on the 75th anniversary of Holland’s liberation, then visiting French friends in Tours and Agen in southern France. We did the Canal du Midi in southern France last fall. Hope to hear from you.
